October 10th is marked around the globe as World Homelessness Day. In the lead-up to this, we have been sharing some of the many amazing partner organisations we work with throughout the city. Homelessness is not an issue that can be solved by one person, rather it is something that takes teamwork and determination to combat. Lifeshare regularly works with these organisations, and more, to help us best support our vulnerable young people and ensure they receive the best possible outcomes. We also signpost attendees of our Breakfast Project which is open to all ages to help them access the best support and engage with services that can assist them after we’ve provided a hot meal and dry clothes. As a culmination of this sharing, we wanted to do a round-up of some of these services to help people refer back to in the coming months. This is not an exhaustive list, there are many groups we haven’t been able to feature this year who do amazing work both in partnership with Lifeshare and as their own groups.
