Volunteer roles

Friday Wellbeing Hub Volunteer

Lifeshare is expanding our provision to include Friday morning and afternoon support at our new Mosaic Wellbeing Hub housed in Manchester’s Central Hall. We are looking to expand our team of volunteers to cover our breakfast and lunch as well as to look after the space and lend a friendly ear to our clients throughout the day. We will be hosting trainings throughout July with a safeguarding introduction as well as a site induction. We can only accept volunteers 18+ at this time.

At our Breakfast Project, we need volunteers that can help cook & serve breakfast, clear up afterwards, help with distributing donations to clients. A friendly ear for clients is always helpful. We can only accept volunteers over 18.

Corporate Volunteering

We work with companies of varied sizes to raise funds, run challenges, and organise volunteering days. We are happy to speak to you about what your team is looking for and tailor a partnership to your needs. Whether it’s a coffee morning or a gala evening – we work with companies across the scale to create fulfilling experiences for their staff that help us to bring vital support to the vulnerable people of Greater Manchester.

Digital Champion

We need people who are passionate about keeping Manchester connected and believe that we should be helping other people gain access to all of the benefits of the online world.


You don’t need to be a technical wizard to apply as we’ll be there to help you gain all the digital skills you need.




We need someone a couple of hours a week for basic cleaning, IE Wiping bathrooms, kitchen. Hoovering and mopping amongst other basic cleaning duties.



Delivery Driver

We need a volunteer that is able to help us with moving clients and goods to accommodation, picking up donations etc.



Administrators Assistant

This Volunteer will help the administrator with basic office jobs such as filing, shredding, photocopying etc.



Food Bank

Volunteers needed, to check stock, make food parcels and general cleaning of stock cupboard.



Due to ongoing rail strikes from June 21-June 24th the Lifeshare offices will be closed. Staff will still be working remotely but drop-in services at Houldsworth st will be suspended until June 27th.

Breakfast Project will run as normal on June 25th & 26th at our Dale street location.
