Most of Lifeshare’s time is spent on its flagship Crisis Assessment & Referral Diversity Service Project where we aim to assist young people in the city who are at risk of, or already suffering from, homelessness and sexual exploitation. We aim to provide the advice and support they need to overcome any barriers to reaching independence…
Lifeshare’s Christmas Project runs an ‘open house’ for 5-6 days to support people who are homeless or vulnerable and in particular need over the Christmas period. We provide: three hot meals a day; clothing and bedding; toiletries; a doctor, podiatrist and dentist on-site; and, most importantly, company and entertainment throughout the day.
Our Weekend Breakfast Project began with volunteers taking bacon sandwiches to rough sleepers on Sunday mornings. Now operating from more permanent accommodation, we provide a cooked breakfast (bacon, sausage, egg, beans, tomatoes), tea, coffee, cereal and toast to those who need it most – all free of charge.
