On December 7th, Chanel’s annual Metiers D’Art Show will fill the streets of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. It’s the first time a fashion powerhouse has held a show like this in the city, and it’s creating quite a buzz.
At the same time, Lifeshare is seeing an unprecedented demand for our services supporting Manchester’s vulnerable and rough sleeping communities. We have served close to 12,000 hot meals this year already, compared to 6,000 last year.
We have also given out over 6,500 clothing items and with the weather turning cold we are giving out more and more each weekend. If you have unused clothing please consider donating it to someone in need. You can drop off donations at our office on Houldsworth st. on Thursday the 7th or Tuesday the 12th of December from 10am-5pm.
