On Wednesday, 25th March, we gathered at the elegant Maldron Hotel in Manchester city centre to celebrate the extraordinary individuals who form the backbone of Lifeshare. This evening was dedicated to the volunteers who show up every weekend to provide vital support to rough sleepers, the socially isolated, and those experiencing food and fuel poverty. From serving hot breakfasts to offering essential services like showers, clean clothes and companionship, our volunteers are the reason we can support 400 people every weekend of the year.
The evening was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the unique spirit of our community. It is truly inspiring to see people from across Greater Manchester, representing every age and background, unite with a shared purpose. We enjoyed an evening of awards and conversation, made even more memorable by the generous hospitality of the Maldron Hotel team and the creative flair of CC5 Visuals, who captured the night’s highlights with their fantastic photo booth.
