Lifeshare is an organisation very close to Anthony’s heart. After experiencing homelessness for seven years, he found food, showers, clothing and compassionate support at Lifeshare’s Breakfast Project.
“It was a place where I found not only food, showers and clothes, but also kindness and dignity.”
We are delighted that Anthony remains in touch with Lifeshare and continues to receive support with his recovery from our Respite Coordinator, Jimmy Dunn.
In May, Anthony (also known as Turbo) took on the Great Manchester Run to raise money for Lifeshare. He completed the event wearing the Lifeshare Christmas apron that he designed himself.
Thanks to Anthony’s fantastic effort and the generosity of his supporters, he raised an incredible £470.
The money will help Lifeshare continue providing food, showers, clothing and support to people experiencing homelessness and hardship in Manchester.
We are incredibly proud of Anthony’s progress and grateful that he chose to give something back to the organisation that supported him. We wish him every success for the future.
