In March 2019 Lifeshare’s Weekend Breakfast service relocated to Limelight Community Centre in Old Trafford. Limelight is a brand-new community health and well-being hub based in the heart of Old Trafford and Lifeshare have been warmly welcomed as part of the team.
After nearly thirty years working from the Charter Street Ragged School, we’ve quickly adapted to the new venue and location.
Limelight provides a range of services in a multi-use space and we’ve received positive feedback from our guests at the Weekend Breakfast service about the other opportunities available at the Community Centre. Lifeshare guests have received additional support at Limelight from on-site benefit advisors and access to modern ICT facilities.

In addition to the warm welcome we’ve received from the Limelight team, Lifeshare has been welcomed into the Old Trafford community with food donations received from local church groups. We want to thank everyone involved for their generous support.
Going forward we’re looking to work in partnership with other services in the community to provide a better service to our Weekend Breakfast guests such as the St John’s Ambulance.
