This winter you can make a real difference to Manchester’s homeless and vulnerable people by donating the essentials we need for our men’s and women’s care packages.

“The care packages will provide those experiencing homelessness, food and fuel poverty with practical items to help keep them warm, clean and hydrated, all in a handy backpack which can be easily carried or stored away” said Mel Brown, Administrative Support Officer

“These items will help alleviate some of the struggles that homeless people face while on the streets of Manchester.”

“Donations such as these are especially important at this time of year as temperatures drop and weather conditions become harsher. A flask of hot tea, hat, gloves and hand warmers could make a huge difference and even prevent illness caused by sitting or sleeping in the cold.”

“While Christmas time is a joyous one for most people, for those experiencing homelessness it can be a painful reminder of what they do not have.”
