On Thursday September 16th Lifeshare hosted our first Partner Thank You Event. After a tough 18-months our supporters have been more vital than ever to help us cope with the demands to our services and the changing working protocols, Lifeshare wanted to thank our wonderful supporters. Through the many changes and hurdles of 2020 into 2021, our supporters have been instrumental in assisting us in providing vital support across the Greater Manchester area.

Lifeshare’s staff and volunteers were able to meet with community supporters and corporate partners to discuss the work that has been done throughout the COVID pandemic along. Our frontline outreach has continued uninterrupted to help vulnerable young people get into stable housing, improve their physical and mental wellbeing, and return to employment or education as appropriate. Additionally, our Weekend Breakfast Project has served meals throughout and even merged with Audacious, Mind, and Barnabus to serve every day of the week to ensure that marginalised people and rough sleepers were able to get hot meals and access support services.

“We are always thrilled to support the work of our friends at Lifeshare who do such important work to suport people experiencing homelessness in Manchester. Providing the catering at such an impressive venue was a real treat and we hope everyone enjoyed the food!”
