Manchester-based analytics software company, Kalibrate, recently ran the Great Manchester Run all in aid of Lifeshare. And not only that, the wonderful bosses at the business only went and doubled their sponsorship donations to a massive £3,570!

Kalibrate is a specialist software company that supports service-based retailers, supermarkets, and fuel companies all over the world with market intelligence, localised data, and precision planning tools. The company supported 11 team members to take on the Great Manchester Run 10K and Half Marathon distances.

We were so impressed with their team and their commitment. Three of the team members even ran the half marathon part of the race!

Corporate giving is such an important piece of support for Lifeshare. However, companies who encourage individuals to take on such a challenge clearly have great comradery and team spirit. It is no easy task!

Steven Rittey, who organised the team and ran the half marathon himself commented: “It was a great way for us to build team relationships and support a local-based charity that makes a big difference to young people in our city. Manchester is where we have our roots, so it was great to take on this challenge. All the team enjoyed supporting a smaller charity and felt that our contributions and running efforts were worthwhile.”

He continued: “We’re excited about a long-term relationship with Lifeshare and this activity has really created a wider enthusiasm from the whole team. As a corporate entity, we know how important it is to give back, but we like to challenge our team with exciting and massively rewarding activities.”
