Lifeshare’s fans will know that this past holiday season, December 2020, was the first-ever Lifeshare Christmas Market. Due to safety considerations the staff and vendors took the difficult decision in November to operate this event entirely virtually to keep our staff, supporters, and vendors safe.

 

With the support of 13 amazing vendors, we were able to raise close to £1,000 to support our COVID Safe Christmas Project. We are so grateful for each of our vendors who took part and donated a portion of their sales, as well as to our amazing supporters who allowed us to direct some business to amazing local makers during the Christmas season.  Thank you for helping us to spread the Christmas cheer around Manchester!

Bounceback Food CIC - a community cookery school that supports people living in food poverty predominantly in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales. They teach people how to cook, run a foodbank drive at market events and provide catering services in disadvantaged areas.
Audrey + George - Lightweight polymer clay earrings in a wide range of shapes, colours, sizes and patterns. Made by hand in Manchester
Tipsy Tea - A range of tea-infused liqueurs that taste great hot or iced.
Batch Bottle Store - Craft beer bottleshop & tap room located in Altrincham with over 200+ different beers.
Invisible Cities - A social enterprise that trains those affected by homelessness to become walking tour guides of the city. Each item in their shop has been created by one of their guides or by local artists/businesses and 100% of our shop profit goes towards these same socially driven projects.
Kala Clothing - Kala (meaning 'Art' in Hindi) aims to create wearable art which communicates messages of multiculturalism. Working in collaboration with diverse groups of artists, we create bold prints to spread awareness and empower the wearer. We create ready-to-wear unisex garments which unite people supporting the messages we promote.
Scalloped and Pearled - Hand-made one of a kind ceramic pieces, created in a little ceramic studio shed in North Manchester. Pieces feature colourful transfer designs, scalloped edges and iridescent pearl + real gold lustres.
Cedar Candles - Every Cedar candle is hand-poured in our studio in Ancoats. Cedar is all about simplicity, and this ethos is reflected in both their elegant designs and the ingredients they use. Their long-lasting candles contain only 100% natural essential oils which is combined with our European grown rapeseed wax blend.
Brazen Prints - Designs that are playful and colourful, while others are inspired by the values that underpinning the brand. Advocates of inclusive feminism, disability rights & mental health awareness. Brazen Prints hope to use design to share the messages that they care about, and raise awareness of important issues. They produce earrings that are all about fun colours and bold styles without having to compromise. Polymer clay is super light, and the fittings are hypoallergenic.
Firecrest Handmade - Festive decorations and eco-friendly gifts inspired by and (sustainably) sourced from nature.
1290 Altrincham Spirits - Inspired by the Altrincham Charter granted in 1290. Their small batch, ‘grain to glass’ gin is packed with ingredients hand picked from Altrincham Market.
CP Mancrame - "I love the way simple knots can make such intricate and beautiful products that can slip into your everyday products. I've got wall hangings, plant hangers and earrings just to name a few. "
Helena Lee Studios - Eco-friendly stationery and gifts based on photos that highlight the beauty of everyday life.
